So, unbelievers and infidels, you thought that we vegans had a miserable time at Thanksgiving, did you? Let me show you the error of your ways! This was our menu last night:

Thanksgiving Day Menu

Welcome:
  • Rosemary Ale
  • Fresh Organic French Walnuts
Starter:
  • Sorrel Soup
  • Sourdough Bread
Main:
  • 3-Grain Medley of Quinoa, Brown Basmati & Minnesota Wild Rice
  • Roasted Orkney Red Potatoes
  • Steamed Hokkaido Pumpkin
  • Black Cabbage and Leek Saute
  • Tender Beetroot: roasted and peeled
  • Red Bean & Carrot Salad
  • Crudites
  • Spiced Tofu and Parsley Rouleau
  • Store-bought Tofu Weiners
  • Fresh Garlic & Chilli Chutney
  • Grape & Ginger Sauce
Dessert:
  • Apple & Cinnamon Plum Pie
  • Blackcurrant Sorbe

Vegan Thanksgiving

Miost of the food was organic, including the Rosemary Ale, and apart from the Weiners, all of it was home-made. I can hardly waddle this morning…
