My friend and IT consultant Ajay tells me that, in many of the companies he visits, FaceBook is running constantly on employees machines - sometimes hidden by a spreadsheet or Word document, but basically - it’s 9-5 FaceBook, with a smattering of work to hide the tracks.
This is confirmed by a recent survey which estimates that that sites such as FaceBook cost UK employers over £130m a day in lost productivity.
This only confirms my suspicion that FaceBook is actually an addiction.
And btw, anyone care to hazard a guess at the slightly iffy Latin title for this posting?
